Wesley Medical Research mental health program

Mitsubishi Development has played a unique part in the 25-year history of Wesley Medical Research, Queensland’s second oldest medical research organisation, having contributed to the organisation every year since it was established in 1994.

This support has included $500,000 to conduct world-leading research to build a new mental health program for Bowen Basin communities in 2020.

The research will access more than one million data points including interviews with community members to identify how mental health services can be improved for individuals in the Bowen Basin following the impact of COVID-19.
